This
1-day course was conceived to refresh seafarers’ memories on the key
nutrients, food pyramid and the proper food to eat on board including the
amount of daily servings needed by their bodies. Tips on having a healthy
lifestyle to avoid degenerative diseases are also tackled. Hands-on
activities for catering personnel, particularly planning balanced meals serve
as the highlight of the course.
